EARNINGS THURSDAY.

Lets see if the fed policy meeting threatening more hikes or higher for longer throws cold water on another reit earning season.  I mean, these guys need to put on their big boy pants and pretend they are displining an invisible entity

It is high time you differentiate between the U.S. and Canada. We WILL go first I am reasonably confident. I don't imagine Powel taking much of a difference in his stance, the market will read it as it reads it and react as it does. No fixes, no lies, no fudging, sorry. I don't believe you will get a hike out of the Fed as some are suggesting unless things really start to heat up, which is ...more

Let me comment on this.  I believe it was Larry Summers that said rate hikes should not be discounted as a possibility for the year and assigned a probability of 15-20% chance of this happening. I think this is a fair assessment and as investors we have to recognize that there are no guarantees only probabilities.  Powell cannot  cut rates when the market is telling him no.  ...more
