Why the Q5 is a great idea...

Why the Q5 is a great idea...

I was giving this some thought last night.  Where I work, only upper management is allowed to carry Q10's and Z10's.  The rest of the staff are only allowed regular cell phones.  To date, I have been unsuccessful getting my staff approved for a Blackberry - primarily due to cost.  Non-management staff have been using Samsung Rugby's and other lower cost/less capable phones.  Now if a lower cost Blackberry came into the picture (say something like the Q5) that would all change.  I talked to both IT and upper management yesterday and they are VERY receptive to the idea of a lower cost Blackberry in our workplace.  Hmmm.

The key point here is that the Q5 does not just open up a third world opportunity for Blackberry.  The opportunity is worldwide.  Thor is one smart cookie and Blackberry has obviously done their homework on market needs.  Have a great long weekend everyone.  Stay strong and stay long.  Go Blackberry!!!
