Shares of BlackBerry (BBRY) are up 14 cents, or 1.4%, at $10.25, as a rumor has been making the rounds on trading desks that activist investor Carl Icahn is buying in.
As the Briefing.com folks advise, “Both BBRY and Mr. Icahn are very popular rumors so we would view this cautiously.”
Nothing has shown up on Icahn’s Twitter feed, I would note.
