Executive Suite knowledge of BB patent amount?

Executive Suite knowledge of BB patent amount? Would the executive suite and BoD be aware of the patent sale value? or only the CEO + BoD + and Lawyers? 

Do others like COO, CTO need to be aware of the amount itself? 

My guess is that only JC and lawyers would be aware of it at the company and of-course the BoD. I don't know if the executives need to be part of the amount negotation? Anyone?
