RE:RE:History Lesson

Like most people I knew about Enigma and Bletchley Circle, and I am proud that the Canadian government gave Tutte the recognition he so richly deserved. Funnily enough, I also feel somewhat assured of BlackBerry's future knowing that Certicom came from Tutte's lineage.
Your welcome Digs... Figured someone would notice the Certicom reference. The most amazing feat Tutte performed was figuring out the how, without the aid of the machine itself, unbelievable. Wasn't there several attempts made by Allies to capture the device? And now we are on the cusp of quantum computing, machines that probably can figure Enigma in a matter of seconds, incredible. Maybe that's too much credit but be interesting to know how fast?
I just hope all the former BB employees still feel the sense of togetherness and camaraderie. I don't know how anyone can think there's no emotional involvement between the players. Each business they created seems to either spin from or support the other and contribute equally. I think their goal is for Waterloo to be #1 cybersec and I for one glad BB is there.
