Yo yasch

Don't like your comments on stocktwits regarding coal and Trudeau.  Just read how Prem was in with Lassonde to keep Teck coal Canadian but couldn't hit a level playing field on the offer.  Canadians pushed out of a great mineral resource because of Trudeau spin on green, but it's ok for the Swiss to swoop in and clean up.  For at least a hundred years.   As I've said before, Canada is broken (mainly because of the Trudeaus) and hopefully an import like Prem can right the ship if not too late.

Konaguy    Totally Agree  Trudeau is a Drama Teacher  not a business person,His polices have harmed a lot of Canadians,His Carbon Tax is nothing more than a Tax Grab,What Good has he actually done other than  Tax the H  out of Canadians,Piere  Was no better,I was in business for 52 years and because of all the BS red tape I would never think of starting a ...more

Except that if you look at the reducing inflation and GDP growth among G7 countries, the US and Canada are the top 2 countries by quite a decent margin. Thanks Biden and Trudeau. We are far better off with these 2 in power than the alternative

Inflation and GDP are economist terms used to baffle the minions by their suitors, the politicians.  Reality speaks for itself in each individuals mind, and in Canada right now, it is not very pretty in mine.  The Canada I grew up in and embraced, is like, from another planet.  Go Prem Watsa!

Inflation and GDP are mathematical ways in which we can compare countries performance.  That's how the grown ups know which countries are doing better than others. You don't have facts on your side so you claim these things don't matter. Canada is one of the freest countries in the world. What you're talking about is fair tale stuff.

Fairy tale.  Really.  Taxed to death (white paper of 70's) no incentive to work or prosper, employers unable to find workers, homeless (addiction) going through the roof, city after city decimated by it, non action on constitutional or human rights (like taxpayers)changes needed, underbelly ripped open by subversive forces (see Nortel, LNG/pipeline industries subjugated while rest of ...more

But none of what you guys said changes the fact that Canada (and the US) is doing better than most countries getting out of the global economic meltdown due to Covid.  You started this conversation cuz you were mad at yasch as he said negative things about dirty, dirty coal. It's 2023, give it up man. Just because other countries continue to use it means we should too?  & ...more

Have you been to Scotland, Norway, or Austria lately?  Just 3 at top of my head.  Dirty dirty coal with those dirty dirty jobs. Canadian primary jobs where profits now go offshore.   Read the mining article from G & M October 13 by Niall McGee.  Lassonde quoted extensively before being nixed for Fording.   You really don't get the point of this discussion as you ...more

The guy claiming that GDP and inflation are voodoo economics is telling me to do some homework? No thanks little buddy, I'll watch the grey cup instead. Go bombers

One last comment on voodoo economics.  Markets open soon and back to reality.   Please tell me how much heroin and opium, probably, but we don't really know because it's top secret, contribute to the GDP and inflation?  They are the worlds biggest cash crops (but not traded ) of which no one knows the take.  Who controls this cash crop, controls the world.  But don ...more

Of course things are exactly rosy, but they are not rosy anywhere. The world has been through a once in a generation occurrence. But you can't exactly blame that  on Trudeau, as like I said, Canada is doing a lot better at recovering from it than most countries.
