RE:RE:RE:RE:Impact of CSeries on BombardierHey Tinou.

I'm not disagreeing with your premise, regarding the battle the Bomber has to face to stay competetive. Just because they have good products for now, doesn't mean that they suddenly know how to make money from them either, nor that those products will be the best in the future. The point is that the competitors that they have now, are in second place behind them, and I like the fact that those competetitors, are trying to catch the Bomber, as oposed the mess the Bomber got itself in, trying to catch Boeing and airbus.

Keep your fingers crossed that EM and BD can deliver. The rest is just heresay.

If you remember well, when BBD started to develop and pre-sell their product, there was a solid reaction from both Boeing and Airbus with the fact that this new kid was developing a product superior to the ones they had for the same price.  At that point, BBD was convinced that delivering a much better product for the same price would be a great success.  It did not take very long for both Airbus and Boeing to start ridicule the " cute little airplane" and to cut their prices.  It was not disclosed openly but they dropped their price to try to cut BBD's throat.  We could also talk about the subtle threat and pressure they put on their clients if they were to abandon them and go with such a gamble with BBD.

Contrary to BBD, BBD competitors have deep pockets (supported by governments) to go through a price war with BBD.  In my view, just to have the best product is not a 100% guarantee of success. Just look at Airbus that is marketing a version of the A220 to compete with the Global 7500.

All I am saying is that will not be an easy battle for BBD although they have presently the best products.
