RE:RE:RE:Which fighter is better for Bombardier?

RE:RE:RE:Which fighter is better for Bombardier?Saab is not working with Bombardier, they are working with IMP. If Saab sets up facilities in Montreal it will be through IMP for Grippen work. Any facilities for Saab assembly work in Montreal has potential for poaching Bombardier employees. If Saab was working with Bombardier it would already been advertised by Saab. Remember all of this was submitted during initial bidding process. If Saab changes the term then expect protest from IMP, Boeing, Lockheed and Airbus. All submissions are done. Any changes opens Goverment of Canada to protest and lengthy legal battle from all other bidding company.

"As part of this package Saab will establish two new aerospace centers in the Greater Montreal Region. These centers will help support a resurgent aerospace sector, building on its domestic excellence, while spurring development in new areas of research and giving the next generation of talented Canadians a career route and future."

Quite clearly states the Montreal area. Are you inplying that IMP will set up shop in the Montreal area and Bombardier will have no participation ?

You also have to remember that when these proposals were first set up, Bombardier was no where near the turn-around stage it is at now. I can see at least the St, laurent facilities being set up for part and to say that Bombardier will not be involved whatsoever is quite baseless.

Lockheed has its own supply change and Canadian suppliers already. Those suppliers will benefit more from Canadian order. If anything, it seems Saab being build in Canada will put pressure on tight aeropsace jobs in Canada. Saab assembly work could put pressure on same work force that Bombardier has. Military contracts pay more. As an investor I dont want bombardier to go on bidding war on wagers.

Is there any money for the bomber at all in this deal?
Does the Goverment will see some part made in Canada?
