Which fighter is better for Bombardier?
I know the most her are canadians, but as an investor for me it is important which fighter brings bombardier more money.
Is there any money for the bomber at all in this deal?
Does the Goverment will see some part made in Canada?

I think that Gripen will be better for Canada and Bombardier ( BBD have a partnership with SAAB) But that been said Canada will certainly choose the F-35.

You can see on page 3 that it will meet NORAD and NATO... https://www.saab.com/globalassets/markets/canada/english-brochure.pdf

From what I understand of the bids, the Gripen, if I remember correctly is 80% Cdn. content versus 20 for F35 and certainly more play for BBD as Montreal facilities mentioned in Aerospace https://www.saab.com/markets/canada/gripen-for-canada/gripen-and-aerospace-rd-centers

Stock is right. Up to now there has been no confirmed link between the SAAB plan and BBD Saab Announces ‘Gripen for Canada Team’

No Kidding ? Bombardier was not even supposed to exist anymore at the time these proposals were set up and I am sure many more things have and will change as to the distribution of economic benefit to the regions.

I quoted what the article had said. I agree that Canada will go with F35. This is so Junior can say Canada had a bidding process before buying F35. How else will he explain canceling the harper era F35 selection and buying it now.

Well you seem to have all the answers and to state as a fact that Bombardier will have no involvement other than to lose employees is quite an ignorant statement when looking at all the facilities and technolgies in Montreal and elsewhere let alone the political implications

It is a fact that Bombardier has no involvement. Its coming from Saab proposal and their company communication. And for jobs, what do you think happens to salary of employees when another company opens up shop in same town looking for same talent? It is you who are ignoring the facts and going on your own assumptions.
