Good find Club. It is indeed a little ironic that BRP, which sells toys for adults, is valued above $100 a share, while multimillionaires buy their toys from a company that trades at the price of penny stocks. Sometimes perception affects reality. 25/1 ratio would do great to solve that! Dare to dream for... US listing...or eventual consolidation of these two co ?

1+The desire to increase the share price, especially if the shares are penny stocks. Low prices tend to elicit negative emotions in investors and inhibit the attention of the big money on Wall Street or coverage by major research firm 2+Companies looking to create spin-offs at attractive prices may use reverse splits. Tyco International (TYC), Motorola Solutions (MSI) and  ...more

Hey Club.  Thanks for this article. It shows the 4 reasons for RS's, and uses an example of a Reverse split that I took part in . The Motorola split. I recall that the Phone part was doing BADLY, and the Solutions part MSI, was keeping the company afloat. So Motorola sold the Phone part of the company to Google and split MSI. I knew nothing about MSI then, so I decided to sell before the ...more

Hey Sham. I'll reverse to you, what you've being say to me, since 2017 to 2019. I hope you're right that they know what they are doing? Remember this is the same Family, that gave the CSeries to Airbus for $1. I can't take their word for the future FCF's increases, or +FCF's of this management words alone now. I'll want to see 2 years of +FCF's and Increasing FCF& ...more

Hey Sham. they could have sold to the Japanese MHI paid $700M, for the money losing CRJ program. You don't think they would have paid $4 to $5B for the CSeries. I hate hearing stupid excuses. The gov't did this the Gov't did that? Who's damn company is this??? Does the Family own it, or do the Govt's own it. Ok Russia is not good, China is not good either.. What's wrong ...more

BBDB589, i think if they could have sold to japan, they  would have done it IMO, Gov of canada, Gov of Quebec forced the Airbuse deal look at Gov of quebec last involvement,,  they got La Caise de depot to loan bbd some cash with guarantee of 30% of transport and bbd must maintaine 2.5 billion in reserve and excellent interest rate of 9 % up to 15% ) who can complain about that ...more

It is not an unreasonable request and a good idea to use caution although the current distress level pricing of the shares no lomger reflects an accurate assessment of the company. There is no risk of default and bankruptcy. The market cap today should be no lower than annual revenue which equates to a price in the $3.50 range. Speculate from there based on your slow growth model but do not hold ...more

Correct Juan. Thanks for the post. If I use the Market Cap Metric? I would use it in this general way. This stock is way undervalued. Cheers
