If I were an employee, I would have vote NO. 0,5% above inflation , max 2,5% for the year 4 and 5 is  not acceptable. The problem is that we don't know what the inflation will be in 4 years.  A 3 year convention would be more appropriate.

I understand both sides on this issue but giving raises because of inflation is not logical, I mean permanent raises.  I'm not in business and don't know of feasible this idea is but I guess some 'protection against inflation' temporary raise could be included in conventions. It's some 'perfect world' solution but it should be looked at. I'm sometimes a bit of
