Yes, a Quebec government will support Bombardier, no matter the party in power.

However, keep in mind that supporting Bombardier, its industry, workers and suppliers does not mean supporting common shareholders.

We had a severe situation with the North American automotive industry about ten years ago.  Bush (Republican) and Obama (Democrat) in the USA got together with the Canadian federal government (Conservatives) and Ontario government (Liberal) to save the industry and hundreds of thousands of jobs. When government support is needed to prevent the failure of an important industry, party politics generally is not considered.

Local "jobs" always take precedence.

Back to the automotive industry crisis of 2008-2009 keep in mind that original shareholders of GM and Chrysler lost their investment when both filed for bankruptcy.  The bondholders and new shareholders and government support (equity and debt) took over.

Since we are no more close to bankruptcy and that all the analysts but two (hold) have a buy rating, they are a lot more reliable knowing what you used to post since I began to buy Bombardier. Also most of the time when the price is down, so your nick "pierre downer" because they are always the worse scenario.
I am done for today, time to go cycling.
