RE:Will Spirit AeroSystems Pursue Its Deal To Acquire Bombardie

RE:Will Spirit AeroSystems Pursue Its Deal To Acquire BombardieIf Spirit wants to low ball then bombardier will tell then to hit the road. Spirit needs to diversify more than bombardier needs to sell Belfast. With UK out of EU Belfast will get more UK work. Also with pending rail sale and 1 billion loan bombardier can weather out covid. Belfast was never a fire sale. Yes it has lost some contracts but which aviation company hasn't. Upswing for Belfast will be faster then Spirit. Also Spirit doesnt have money to pay its own bills so they will most likely delay the closing anyways. Spirit can walk away from the deal but they wont. The 1 billion loan buffer that Bombardier got is a clear message to Spirit that Bombardier can live with Belfast factory and the financing they have arranged. Yesterday RTX parent company of Collins (former Rockwell Collins/ Hamilton Sundstrand/Goodrich comp) said they wont be delivering any new parts for boeing 737 MAX until 2nd half of 2021 at the earliest. RTX doesn't see the parked 450 plus MAX getting delivered anytime soon and when it does start delivering then they will be very slow rate. New production of MAX is far away. This also implies that the bread and butter for Spirit is gone. They need to diversify and generate new revenue elsewhere as building 737 fuselage revenue stream is dried up. FYI RTX has over $3 million worth parts/component on each 737MAX.
