I'm a veteran from the airforce, I used to work on the f-18 went they were brand new, I would love to see canada buying the Saab, but I belive there's about zero chance that will happen, the main raison is Norad, Canada and the US having the same aircraft would makes it a lot easier for data comunication between aircraft, plus having all the spare parts especialy up north, and many other political raison.
