DJ Bombardier Expects Margins to be Strong Throughout the Year -- Market Talk

09:08 ET -- Bombardier's strong aftermarket sales are helping with margins. The business jet manufacturer reported adjusted Ebitda margin rose 140 bps year-over-year to 16% in 1Q. The company's executives said in an earnings call that this has been boosted by parts sale activity which has been strong thanks to the growth of its aftermarket business that flows through the business. They also said delivery growth is expected to improve next quarter, which will help bolster margins, and while the company doesn't guide for the metric on a quarterly basis, they said Bombardier is anticipating stronger margin growth overall for the year.(adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
