Bombardier Inc. > Analyst day

Analyst day

I don't know why but the analyst day sceduled for late in february is the most important catalyst ahead and none talk about it. It's like nobody have it on his radar screen.

At the Q3 conference call Martel tell that they will host an ''analyst day'' late in february. They will disclose thier strategic plan and thier cost cutting program.

Given that for analyst Bombardier is a ''show me story'' after the successive missed results in the past, this informations are the bigger catalyst ahead.

Almost all analysts who follow bombardier are American. They only follow bombardier as they are paid by investors who own RTX, Honeywell, GE and other large american aerospace. They are looking at bombardier order numbers to see if it corresponds to what their invested companies are saying and validating. Bombardier is just a final integrator. For example RTX formally UTX has more than 30% content ...more

I don't know where you got your information. More than half the Bombardier's analysts are from canadian Banks brookers based at Toronto. I have accounts at 4 of them ( Nat bank, Desjard, CIBC and TD) and thier analysts follow first canadian companies and only some US ones.  But the most important is that the Bombardier B shares ownership is only at 9% from institutions; 8% are from ...more

So because 4 canadian companies follow and you have all 4 of them dont mean jack. Next time listen in to the call and see which analyst is asking the question. By your numbers most shares are held by general public whch reinforce my point on why American analyst follow bombardier for their clients. 8 % is a joke and proofs there is no interest from canadian institutional. I have heard Desjardins ...more

Given your post: Almost all analysts who follow bombardier are American. (False) They only follow bombardier as they are paid by investors who own RTX, Honeywell, GE and other large american aerospace.  Analyst who own bombardier competitor shares also follow bombardier and play hardball during bombardier q results Q&A.  Ask yourself why with just over 1% held by ...more

You are wrong right of the start. What does almost all mean? Those analysts are doing their due diligence. That's what they are paid for. For example didn't you follow and read about TTC problems with bombardier LRT. I dont use TTC and dont have any vested money in TTC not that it is possible as its public ttsnsit but to understand bombardier problems and extent of it i followed bombardier ...more

From you: I have heard Desjardins asking questions but the caliber of questions are a joke. Sounds like they were send to the call to get experience. There the list of analysts at the conference call: Desjardins was not there, he didn't asked questions and again From where do you get your informations? Bombardier Inc. (OTCQX:BDRBF) Q3 2020 Earnings Conference Call November 5 ...more

Because you copied and pasted the list from one q report you think you have it figured out for all the q results. Kid you can do better.

At each response with facts, you built a new storey of your house of cards. End of the conversation for me. Thanks.
Comment by stockitnow on Jan 26, 2021 5:56pm
Putting attendance list from one q report form several year dosnt proof anything. The rest you dont have any facts backup but snapshot and opinion. You couldn't answer why with no major investment are American analysts covering bombardier. I used your own fact numbers asking you to explain why there are American analysts with less Holdings and you couldn't come up with any explanation. The ...more

That's so "parvenu".  I don't know why they bother.  Last year the stock tanked right after (if not during) the presentation they made in Florida. Presentations are just promises and coming from Bombardier, institutionals are probably thinking its not worth the paper its written on. Better off opening an Account on Wallstreet bets and targeting more retail shareholders ...more

Actually, I agree with him. These analyst days have done nothing except disappoint and create shorting opportunities.
