Negativity

Tired of the negativity on the blog, Cseris is behind the company, it was a mistake to have sold it or give for a dollar to Airbus.

Now Bombardier has changed considerably, still very indebted but in better health.

There is a lot of speculation about potential supply problems, let's wait for the February results before making any assumptions. We will have all our answers to our questions sooner or later.

I believe the changes and decisions that have been made by management make Bombardier a much better company with a much brighter future. Let's stop being negative and focus on the positive potential of the company.

Agree. I was in fact, one of the first to point out the mistake, and one of the last to let the blunder go. But I've put it behind me.  We've got a great little company who's EBITDA is growing every quarter. In fact I suspect the Q4/2021 EBITDA to be in the range of $215M, and a full year 2021 EBITDA to be in the $625M. This does not pay all the bills yet, because we have $500M ...more

Looking back it was a mistake for bombardier to make the c series. AB said they wont be profitable on a220 until 2025. That will be about 5 years since AB took it. Thats 5 years of money bombardier would have lost on that program. Money that bombardier didnt have. Airbus is able to sell a220 as complete package with a320. Bombardier could never do that on its own. Embraer is struggling with the E2 ...more

Actually, this is not negativity as this have nothing to do with BBD. This is more of nostalgic debate like we have in france for Alstom or Alcatel. It go nowere, but, generaly speaking we like to remember the old days and the mistake. Kind of a "Nostalgie Triste" we love to live with and debate :). Personaly, i think that BBD should not have started this kind of projects ...more

You are absolutely right...given a choice when comparing possible returns, any one would have chosen going with airbus rather than Bombardier considering the circumstances. Just goes to show what kind of defeated mindset no matter what decision would have been made. Negativity...part of the culture I guess.

However I can understand frustration, me too I'm frustrated. I have two choices sale my shares or keep it and live with consequences to lost everything. But I like EM's vision and I like the future potential.

There is probably no one on here that is more frustrated than me but I hang on because I realize the family is in it for the long haul  ...When I first bought there was big talks about the Cseries' success and huge train sales due to cities turning to massive transit investments and our govts throwing huge money into both to create and sustain jobs ... little by little everything changed  ...more
