Bombardier Inc. > Investor base upgrade needed

Investor base upgrade needed

It's acting like a penny stock.  The company's fundamentals have improved enuf that Martel & Co should finally get around to the stock itself. Improve the investor base, get a real US listing, court a lot more institutions, etc.  There shouldn't be reactions like the last couple days any more.  Better support is needed.  Time for the stock to grow up.

Hey Truth. We can't stop what's coming from the market. Either short selling, and or day trading. These are the mature big boys that are playing with this stock. Their game here is simple. They get in, and pump like they did yesterday to make people sell off. They are trying to frighten the long term Investors into selling. We may not like it or enjoy it,  but this is what they do.

859, still trades like a penny stock too often.  In those stocks, fickle and gambling retail folks dominate, creating a fertile ground for exploitation by professionals.  We could use more serious investor money involved to reduce that, such as tute ownership, family offices, etc.
Comment by BBDB859 on Feb 10, 2023 4:58pm
Ya tute investment is great. But these guys (manipulators) are not going to allow this cash cow stock to go to that level, that quickly. Tutes are only likely to come in much much later when we're at their price range. That SP is probably around the $100.00 range in my opinion. We won't get there for another year, or more. So we'll get more of this jiberish for now. If you ask me? It ...more

Truthifest, I agree 100% with you, cause yesterday and today, very disappointing! Lucky that the results confirmed the preliminary results or else we would of dropped more than that! But anyway to see the S/P hit a low of but more than $55, never I would thought of this!

I get your frustration but do you consider tsla a penny stock? I don't think so, and I don't either but did you see the major swing on the SP the last few months? It's part of the game, it sucks but you just need to be patient and believe in the cies turnaround. GLTA

TSLA is volatile, but largely because of it's humongous valuation and it's polarizing leader.  A ton of people either love or hate the stock, so there's a constant battle there.  Neither trait is really true for BBD. It has successfully emerged from a dark past to have a reasonable valuation by just about any standard (if at least a bit low, of course!), and a steady, calm ...more

Deja vu all over again this morning.  I rest my case, lol.
Comment by lb1temporary on Feb 13, 2023 12:40pm
Some leave the boat; thursday was a momentum killer day. Management only confirmed the results disclosed 3 weeks before, introduced 2023 forecasts with a few less deliveries than anticipated, a weak first quarter, 2023 FCF in the low end of anticipations and announced the investor's day date at the end of march.  Usually, investor's day was 2 or 3 weeks after the results; 6 weeks is ...more

March 23 is the new catalyst, upgrades from all analysts, what do you need more.

I think institutional investpors still see too many risks. The company needs to keep inovating, but doesn't have room on the balance sheet for new program development -  like the ecojet. Without a low risk path forward for significant gains in earnings beyond 2025, the focuse is on the here and now, and this conomay isn't generating any net income righ now.

Some almost certainly do.  But it's not an all-or-nothing thing.  Plenty of tutes and other deep pocketed investors invest in risk equities, some far riskier than BBD.  I'm only looking to get some more of them. Even just a small number would be nice.  Progress.
Comment by MyNameIsNobody on Feb 13, 2023 1:47pm
Your comment is too vague... What are those 'too many risks'? You're talking about the Ecojet that they're working on, that's why people talk about it, and say that they're not working on it or need to keep inovating? The deleveraging has been the main goal for a few years and they're doing great and you're saying 'low risk path forward for significant gains ...more

I own the stock. Not trying to scare anyone and value all points of view. I think long-term the company will succeed. But there is a reason institutional investors have yet to come back to this stock. My post is an attemp to rationalize why institutions are still waiting on the sidelines.  To me there is lots of upside, but also lots of risks. I own the stock becuase I believe management ...more
