hilarious at best ... Quebec lost the bid to Ontario because they could not furnish enough electricity to the new plant ...closest place in Quebec for that amount of power needed was Sept. Isles .. I swear , this province has been run into the ground , instead of it being the best place to live ... anything our politicians do is negative  ... but if you want more unused bike lanes , we are ...more

I think over 10 years when you are looking at possibly losing the deal, the 13 billion will be easily recuperated in the projected 8k jobs to be created during that period.  I would also think Quebec woul benefit with the supply capability of lithium as it is the leader in lithium production with that new mine in eastern quebec that will run for 20 years

you might be right about it being a good investment when we look at what the world is trying to acheive with electric cars ...I still haven't digested GM taking off with millions from the St.Therese plant in Mirabel  but whatever .... my frustration is with the Qc govts who have made all the wrong moves when trying to create jobs here ... language and mismamngement of resources have cost ...more

I try to be balanced in what say.  Although there are things that Ford does that make me shake my head, I have to give him credit for partnering with JT (another one who I sometimes shake my head about) and delivering on a manufacturing strategy that actually makes sense. It just says everything about our journalists when all they do is take the political side that their owners decide. I ...more
