even if I did a very good move last fall after selling some Bombardier and buying ADF Group (DRX) with a return of 601.5% on a year basis

Just a question : what is the meaning of ''on a year basis''

One year return from on date in 2023 to the same date in 2024 ...in this example from 04-26-2023 to 04-26-2024

You bought it in fall so you have a very nice return (300-400%) but less than if you have bought in april. Congratulations. Very nice.  Longs have a similar return with Bombardier but for a longer period: 3,5 years :  765%    (from 7,40$ on nov 2020) 1,7 years : 230%  (from 19,40  July 2022) 6 months : 53%  (from 41,50  oct 2023) Congratulations to all
