One factor may be the shutdown of the refineries in Texas . These refineries normally consume nat gas to provide hydrogen molecules for upgrading and desuphurisation.,Also there may be a lot of petrochemical plants that were shutdown. My Oil and Gas stocks are getting whacked again today, Whitecap, Arc, Baytex, the only one positive is Crew Energy.

One natural gas trader I know says it's time to cover short positions and take profits. Other traders say it's too soon, gas may fall below $2.40. These guys are good but never perfect, all it takes is to be right more often than wrong. Equities is a different story and there is also the price of oil and general markets.
