I was reading through the EIA nat gas weekly update and saw  that Freeport LNG began receiving nat gas deliveries on Dec 20th . If they are starting to fill the tanks , a startup must be in the immediate future . Probably gets announced on Friday at 3:45pm but Freeport restarting , the loss of an LNG facility in Australia (fire) and this polar vortex amping up demand will catch up with the paper market soon enough .

Happy to here Freeport receiving deliveries , this drawn out restart has been a drag on Gas prices for too long ,let's hope they restart by year end and winter stays for the next couple months. Thanks for posting HighOctane.

Yes I agree skylar , Freeport should have been back on line last summer but energy politics in the states resemble a banana republic , biased and punitive . Last night Australia lost an LNG loading facility due to explosion and fire , Freeport is nearing a return to service but none of this is ever mentioned for fear it would be a bullish signal . Thx for posting... I just look at the gas price on Bnn or oil price.com...so Bir which also has 15% going thru aeco is doing great regardless of pricing I see on Bnn and oilprice.com. I have a lot to learn still. Thx for the details.

This is just nonsense. Dawn is fetching about the same as HH right now... https://www.naturalgasintel.com/data-snapshot/daily-gpi/MCWDAWN/ The only premium pricing that Birchcliff is seeing is on the 5% exposure they have to Alliance, and it's nowhere near the $50 per mmbtu seen at some of the other US hubs.  FYI, I'm long 8000 shares of BIR, and though I would love to see

With today's quick drop to a $4 number NG has a better chance now 70-30 it will see the 4.35 area before it sees $6.50-7.00 again. Just like the $10 high retracement to $5 and the last $7.60 high has a 50-50 chance of seeing

You people crack me up , do you really think that NYMEX HH is the price everywhere in the country ? My decimal points are not in the wrong places , those numbers are direct quotes from the EIA . If you want to learn something , the EIA nat gas storage report has a link on the lower right side . Click on Natural Gas Weekly Update , those prices top the "In The News" columm . The headline

I don't know where you (MS) got the idea that I posted a price for Dawn ...... the list I provided was all quoted directly from the EIA report . If you are going to make petty accusations then at least "try" being accurate yourself .

Thx HO and MS .... I don't have a much knowledge or follow anything to deeply in the gas markets I got extremely lucky in spring 2020 buying half a dozen companies on the basic hunch that oil and gas was here for ever and what was going on that spring was a financial gift. So I'm learning all the time it's a complicated environment so I'm greatful to all you guys that clearly know
