Awful Deal....BAD move!

What ?.....$24M for 330 boepd....and not even 1/2 of it is oil? Wow what a horrendous deal Bonterra just made.......what are these fools doing? They should be considering a suitable merger or selling out completely.... NOT doing idiotic, overpriced deals like this. I will be selling my modest amount of shares today....based on this unfortunately sad news....I think Bonterra mgmt is taking cues from the folks at Birch and trying to see who's more incompetent........man O man ....8(

Being the inconsequential, unimpotant micro cap the company is......where NO serious investors even know they exist, they should have been busy finding a suitable dance parnter so they, their merger partner and the combined company would at least show up as a small blimp on the radar of investors. But NO....it seems like the folks at Birchcliff......they prefer the Status Quo and continue with the shell games. Trust me my friends, this will NOT end well for BNE or its s/h in 12 months time from here.

Oh well......it's on to bigger & better things for me..... i guess.........as far as i'm concerned this is a dead end for any investor thinking of investing here........For anyone staying on.....i wish you the best of luck .....you WILL need it!

Probably time for you to move on to something managed by someone else. Clearly this isn't your thing.

I think i've already made my intentions clear and there's no need for you to repeat the obvious & what i've already done. Not too sure why you're getting upset & ...more

Lol. No kidding.  looking forward to the Quarterly update tomorrow.  NIce to see that they have added enough Tier 1 inventory to address market concerns. I think that is why the stock is moving - and doing it for under 500.00 per acre in a top reservoir with two batteries and gas egress in place is just brilliant.

Rex...I like the property buy they did from the view it will get them away from over drilling their cardium land....and they can use the existing pad and drill and tie in charlie wells very quick. BNE is basically doing what OBE is doing in a way...using CF from an older asset the cardium to fund a new play. But expectations need to be managed....no way BNE can pay a divy in 2024 and have the ...more

My other comment would be low NG prices could be the reason why BNE even had a chance to get this property. Archer is drilling charlie lake wells by laglace and with low NG prices...probaby dont have cash to drill in bonazana as well. Low AECO is really putting strain on smaller companies. From Certus to Archer...low Aeco probably made decisions for these companies.

Do you know for certain it was from Archer? And do you know what the wells will IP and what decline rates are? There's no info on their website period.  This says 1000 boe/d but much more oily: https://www.dailyoilbulletin.com/article/2023/11/15/tourmaline-continues-to-be-the-top-charlie-lake-op/ There seem to be some TOU (small) blocks in the new BNE acreage and it's really ...more

Yeah I am very sure it is Archer. Archer is run by a bunch of geogolists and they have bought and sold in other company names before. Example....Anegada which Tamarack valley bought for charlie lake rights was Archer management team. Even that Sawn lake assets that was sold to Surge energy up by slave lake was this management team Archer maangement team way back really discovered charlie lake.  ...more

Let's see 2m's update: they can easily drop Cardium wells for Charlie Lake ones and be much more efficient. Cardium wells are $ 2,5 mln: CL range is $ 3 - $ 5 mln, not that far apart and they're much more prolific.  The whole point is that capital efficiency is twice as good: so you gain by drilling CL and dropping Cardium.  Capital Efficiency goes up = more result for the ...more
