RE:Short Position

RE:Short Position
Good morning Carena.

Question for you.  It is a bit of a puzzle.  I have been around a while and I had not noticed that mystery yet.

The short position on BPO.PR.T increased by 31,638 from March 16th until March 31st, according to the simi-monthly report.

Is that number accurate?

During that period, only 28,819 shares were traded according to TSE statistics.

28-Mar-24 3,513
27-Mar-24 950
26-Mar-24 2,455
25-Mar-24 1,325
22-Mar-24 3,200
21-Mar-24 3,481
20-Mar-24 4,763
19-Mar-24 3,100
18-Mar-24 6,032
  28,819

How can anyone explain the increase?
