I figured thew high trading volume would have moved the price and reduce the asksa , it did neither . Anyone explain to me why not .There still seems like a strong demand.

It can be several reasons, but here they have someone providing liquid to the market I would bet on, A Market maker.And they had it more than once here,Not that it might matter to  anyone her but crypto currencies stocks are very much part of so. ,
