RE:Trading

RE:TradingThank you, UL13, thank you for sharing.  I am not good at trading. Particularly not good at opition trading. From time to time I do trade with stocks I am holding. I sell stocks at high price. It does not have to be at top. Then buy them back, again not at the bottom, just somewhere lower enough to reduce my cost of the holding. But I cannot do this with opitions, at least I feel it's dificult, because the commisions are higher and the spreads between bid and ask are larger. The premium also shrinks when the stock price is higher. Today I tried to sell my CPG Jan call opitions. My ask price was only 4 cents above the share price yet it did not get filled. There are lots of things for me to learn. How are you doing lately? There may a leg up for Canadian oil producers, at least some of them, although it may be just a baby step.
