RE:RE:Gas can reach $5 a Gallon..... Add an L, drop an L, thanks for making it simple to heave you back onto the ignore pile. What a schmuck. Metric and currency exchange is too tough for you isn't it. Let me help you out with the big boy math. $5 USD = $6.41 Cdn at 78 cent dollar. There are just 3.785 liters in a U.S. gallon, so 6.41/3.785 = $ 1.69 per liter. That's more than 20 cents higher than the all time record high for Toronto, the centre of the universe . Don't you hate it when the facts mess up your BS?
Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, told Global News Radio AM640 Toronto that as of midnight Thursday, the GTA will see an increase of two cents a litre to $1.449 — an all-time record high. The previous record — $1.439 — was set back in June 2014.
