RE:Is anyone getting greedy?

RE:Is anyone getting greedy? In exactly the same boat.  Gains in last two years have been phenominal, have cashed in some, but still sitting on quite a few 10-20K capital gainers.

Be very thoughtful of the the dividends you are getting based upon your ACB, and the long term benefit there ... you can't get back in at the same level.  E.g. FRU is now giving me 9% at 6 cents a month, and they paid out 14 cents a month from 2010-14 at 80-100WTI.  Happens to be an energy example, but lots of other (maybe not so dramatic) examples.

But hey, if the structural bull is going to be real, then it will truly blow this all away.

Balanced approach is probably best, I'm going to play it cool now for another month at current levels, probably just some shifting around, and see how things build up to Q1 reporting.  I think it's Q1 that is really going to mark the turn.

But here's the thing. I'm thinking about selling off some of that blue chip money and redirecting it to oil. Some of the blue chip stuff I've done really well on for blue chip stocks. The bounces off the pandemic lows in banks have been really sharp. I keep looking at the overall situation and thinking generational opportunity and I'm thinking more about some greedy moves. Any long term balanced portfolio guys want to talk me out of that, or talk some sense in to me lol
