Listen Topdown, I'm only saying that the auto industry has already stated that they're going all electric and they won't be producing gasoline powered vehicles. How can they make statements that ICE vehicles will make up 79% of production in the year 2050, really? Don't tell me how they will be able to produce 100,000 batteries or millions for that matter. Haven't you heard the news? Stellantis, Ford, GM etc will be building new battery facilities in Ont, Quebec and many other places. How do they do it is their problem. You're calling me an eco woke cheerleader? Far from it pal. Don't expect everyone to buy your BS as if you know everything.

WOW , someone decided to take the nuclear option rather than diplomacy , don't expect me to join you . I have always found when the insults start , the arguement has already been won .

I never accused you of being an eco cheerleader but if your reading comprehension brought you to that conclusion well so be it . Look around , do you see anyone (other than Tesla) offering an EV for sale today ? GM will take a deposit to "reserve" an EV truck with a delivery date TBD . Companies will say anything right now to keep the cancel culture looking elsewhere . Rather than tossing around insults why don't you enlighten us all by telling us where all this Lithium is coming from ? Or the graphite or the cobalt ?

Do you even know the challenges in dealing with Lithium ? It reacts with Oxygen , it reacts with Nitrogen , it is a group 1 metal that melts easily and will burst into flame when heated and exposed to atmosphere . Now I'm not a chemist but I'm adult enough to admit I don't know everything , you and your bruised ego might take a lesson from that .
