RE:Will there be an end ...Bogi, at $95 oil we continue to pay off debt, buyback shares and get closer to dividends. Sure during the "Great Recession" oil averaged 2007-2009 @ $75ish....BUT that was with much higher capital spend by oil majors. This time is different so we will see.
Regarding "Eric not trying so hard to promote...these are my thoughts." Watch any business TV program i.e. Bloomberg US....for instance I actually logged it last week and saw 73 tech commercials promoting various products including ETF's....Invesco QQQ being the biggest with a commercial almost EVERY hour.
Tech dumps billions into TV advertising to pump their portfolios....what do we have? Eric on BNN lol
Seriously though...for those who call Eric a pumper of Cdn O&G....he is a tadpole in the Tech world of advertising tech stocks/funds.
I somewhat laugh at people who talk about Eric "pumping"....Tech has rewritten the book on it.
Not 1 person could debate that. Anyone who really thinks Eric has the airwaves like tech is delusional.
The only thing is we have the eco woke who will never give up attacking...tech doesnt have that.
