RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Where is the Wolf of Wallstreet in your time of need?Bullboards need to be used discriminately like any other source of information. There
is a lot of useful information and a lot of agenda based bias. I use it more like taking
the pulse of how people think and feel.
On another note, I am again incredulous at the Liberals using 2B $ of their education
fund to cut the cost of childcare. I'm not against funding childcare however these benefits
are right across the board and apply to everyone. That means both rich and the poor
get the benefits. So families earning $100.000 or more get the reduced rate same as
poor families. The Liberals want to eventually get it down to $10/day for childcare.
The amount of largesse is astounding and simply a giveaway to wealthier families
who can well afford to pay for childcare. Now juxtapose that against the punitive
oil & gas stance the gov't is taking. How in H ell does this add up or make any sense?
On one hand the degree of giveaways knows no limits and yet there is the extreme
horror and repudiation of using an asset that Canada is blessed with and could be
used to more than cover these extravagant social programs. Nat gas particularly
is the cleanest of the fossil fuels and yet we are handcuffed and hog tied by our
own elected gov't in being able to take advantage of this resource for our own
benefit. This is particularly galling as the world is begging for nat gas and unlikely
to change in the foreseeable future.
Trudeau wants the world to look at Canada as the shining city on the Hill but in fact
he is looked upon by the world as the Fool on the Hill. We are paying the price for this
idiocy every single day as we sink deeper in debt and impoverishment. The amount of
revenue loss to this country is simply staggering as this goes back decades. Sorry
for going on so long but I couldn't cut it down to just a few terse lines.
