If and that's a big If , when or ever Mexico and there Central American , South American countries ever get down to the business of democracy and rule of law , they could definately be the next World's Powerhouse. As l am a student of history , that has basically never happened since they threw off the yoke of the Spanish or Portuguese and that's for well over up to 200 years. My belief is both North American governments like that status quo and the corrupt non performing regimes, other than the drug Cartels who actually control every thing and everybody. After all this time the system of bribes and corruption is so entrenched l doubt it will ever change in our lifetime or my kids or grandkids. Just look at recent events in Ecuador.
