Time to admit we were all wrong

We should have all bailed from Canadian energy early
last June.  Since then it's been a constant downtrend.   Stocks are held by day traders now and companies like BTE have turned their backs on shareholders by discarding their stated shareholder value strategy.

It's called investing for a reason. Clearly I wish I had sold my full position at 9 and bought back in at 4.50 or I wish I would of traded it 100 times and made 2 % everytime. Oh I wish iwould have bought breex at the bottom and sold it at the top.  If you are an investor get over it, move on to the next one. Just don't whine. Nothing worse

Not whining at all actually.  Was a statement of fact.  Now of course stocks could rebound from here but clearly we all should have sold last June in retrospect, and that includes the delusional that think long term holding has paid off.   PS I got out of BTE before their recent purchase and put the money into Athabasca, which has increase 20% since.  No need to whine.   ...more

LMAO. You missed another bottom, man. Since 2020, I am in a beautiful uptrend with all of this just another bump in the road. The hardest bump was going from $0.69 back down to $0.39 in September 2020. Painful because my cost base was $0.58 after adding 900,000 shares at $0.30, so I was well green at $0.69 - I had gotten my money back and then it was back down into the deep red again. I should add that $9 will easily be surpassed in the next two years. Last June was definitly not the time to sell and will feel foolish for those who did. This is a 3-4 bagger from here.  Take a long view, sit back and enjoy the ride.

LOL!   Yes not selling at $9 and riding it back down to $5 was definitely brilliant.  SMH.

Yes and from $0.69 to $0.39 and from $1.25 to $0.75 and from $2.75 to $1.80 and from $3.40 to $2.40 etc etc. This is just another bump in the road. I don't have the magical power that you have in your fantasy world to predict short term movements of a stock. So I EXPECT to see my investment go down 50% several times over the many years I plan on owning the stock. That's the difference ...more
