I know all about it, and their non operated position.  Its a joke to think that in the USA, a market that produces more than 10X the conventional oil that Canada produces, that if this deal was a compelling opportunity is would of been scoped up a long time ago.  The statement that the team was technically incompetant, and Eric Nuttal technial expert confirms this is a big joke.  He has no expertise. Most of the posts here are from those that have an agenda. I would recommed you don't pay them much heed.  Build a thesis and then go vfrom there as I have and as I believe you have as well Riski.

So that's your humble opinion , no doubt Eric for his fund owners and of course for his own pocket book is a trader , but that's his  job and whether he is in or out of Baytex he will be around alot longer and remembered when you are past history. Eric like him or hate him regardless forgot more about the industry in the last 10 minutes than you will ever know.
