Geography lesson

The Fekola mine is located along the Mali's border with Senegal, along with many others including Barrick's operations. The trouble spots are in the east; Gao is 1,639km away by car, and is relatively close to the Niger border. Has Bristow closed-up shop? Sheeple might be jittery; I am not.

BSdetector, You may well be correct that Fekola is isolated and immune from any threat. But in regards to geography, the airport in question is in central Mali. Also, the insurgents are very active in Burkino Faso which is at the same latitude as the Senegal border. Probably four or five hundred  miles away. On top of that, there is unrest just over the border in Senegal  where members ...more
