Cineplex

Betting against cineplex is betting against the movie industry and betting against Canadian consumers. In general you are betting against humanity.

If you think the movie industry (Hollywood) will go bust, then go ahead sell. If you think that the Canadian Consumer and humanity will go live under a rock for thousands of years, then go ahead and sell.

In my opinion, this is an opportunity, Cinepleax will come out ahead through this crises. Remember, nothing lasts forever, this pandemic will eventually pass.

You guys got the blinders on to the big issues. This is not the same as all the other market down turns. You got covid, stock market bubble, mounting consumer debt, and shrinking GDP. Consumers will shift spending over the next few years to saving, and to top that they will live in fear of covid till a cure comes.
