IF it's successful... that's a very big if. It's an interesting point.  Scientifically, it's very unwise to assume a vaccine will do much to halt the pandemic... but it's also clear that lots of the public are living in hopes of one.  We can see that from all the headlines charting vaccine progress and all the talk about "until a vaccine comes along." So

Definately a logic-based short term reasoning. I agree with there being short term upside on optimism of when there is a vaccine. How effective and when new movies being released are a massive unknown.  As someone who held Cineplex before the buyout offer (sold a couple cent above 34); the theatre outlook does not look good. Without the Cineworld offer it appeared like this would be hovering
