The exact words used by the CEO were (bottom of page 7):
"We believe that 2020 represents the trough for our business.  We are currently enduring a low point for caustic soda pricing and HCl demand from the fracking industry and a higher than average level of turnaround activity.  Despite that, as outlined, we believe that there is considerable upside in our earnings potential in the future.  In other words, we believe that the business will generate sufficient funds to sustain our distribution"

In context it was in response to discussion around the distribution on the board.  

Was the guidance wrong.  Absolutely.  Covid has something to do with that.

Distribution Guidance

At mid-point of 2020 guidance. distributable cash equals distribution.  Believe 2020 is the trough for the business.   Believe considerable upside in future.  Believe business will generate sufficient funds to maintain the distribution in future years.

 

Actually Greg, you proved my point beyond a doubt and of which I had been saying back then, Chemtrade had been lying to investors for a very long time and they cut the distribution about 3 weeks after you posted your comment. Having said that, you still believed that the distribution was safe because you made the post in support your opinion.

Hey look, another story change.  I am posting about caustic prices...whoops, that was shot down, I mean I am posting about someone credibility....whoops...that wasn't their opinion...now I was posting that my point was about management lying....

I post information.   Immediately Prior to that post I posted Scotia's negative opinion of the stock.  So was I positive or negative or just posting information for people to make their own decisions?
