RE:RE:No news is good newsI would agree with the first part, however if it were made in the midst of all this mess when it was actually made public you can be sure the offer is deeply discounted and loaded with conditions, this seems far more probable to me when you look at the volume and sp jump that occurred prior to the halt, that suggests to me the offer was just put in. that's just my opinion but who would buy a company out right now without looking for a killer deal? not me. cheers ..

Does AC have anyone on the board since they hold such a large stake in Chorus ? if so they would know and it's probably not strategic. If not then it could be strategic.

I mean the Husky acquisition by Cenovus took years to hash out.
