The Eagle Spirit pipeline backed and operated by FN would accomplish this if only the PM didn't put in place a tanker ban on the coast. A totally moronic decision not based on any scientific principles but on FEELINGS. He campaigned on science based decisions and now has backed out because it does not suit his philosophy. We are sacrificing 80 M a day by selling our oil for less. If this was in Ont./QC, immediate action would be taken. Stopping our oil does not stop consumption. It just means other countries will supply it.
We have put stringent regulations in place for upstream and downstream emissions on all energy projects but not on airplanes or vehicles that actually burn the product. Totally moronic and the laughing stock of the world. The PM is a lightweight and treated as such by other world leaders.
