Its South District operating area is located east of Calgary in southeastern Alberta and produces medium gravity crude, as well as liquids-rich natural gas. Its Central District operation is located in East Central Alberta, which is focused on producing oil from multiple, large original oil in place (OOIP) pools. Its North area includes Grande Prairie, Clearwater, House Mountain, Mica, and Mitsue properties.

Thank you for your insights. I agree 8 is too low but was going on current target prices set. With a 10.3 percent dividend I have all the time in the world to wait!

@ the Bell: TSX powers through to close week higher
Canada’s main stock index inched up on Friday. The only drag on the TSX was a drop in the energy sector while mining led gains.

Why is $8 your value and target? We traded at over $10, 2 years ago with bank debt that started over 400% moving down to 50% higher than today, tho the price of oil was 25-50% higher also

Just a question on cj. Why are analsysts way more optimistic on this stock than investors are? It seems like a no brainer and way more upside than a PEY kind of stock play. But it seems stuck at 6.50

According to the TD Morningstar Quant Report the FMV for CJ is $8.63 this morning. With a $10.43% dividend yield, its not hard at all to sit back and watch this stock slowly move to higher values

More egress out of Western Canada and less out of the US Gulf Coast isn't magic. Watch for a change in the WTI-WCS spread. CJ will do better with higher WCS prices and the higher US dollar
