A BUYOUT LIKELY TO HAPPEN IN 6 MONTHS
i have followed corus (cjr.b) for several years, bought a few shares at $25.00 and sold for a small profit shortly afterwards as no takeover came through at the time, expected to be in the $30.00 range. the stock-market can be terrible, even for supposedly quality companies. i remember, not too long ago, when the share price slipped below $20.00 and investors thought it was a good investment at that price. how can such a stock fall to its current level of approximately $10.00 is not clear. ---cjr.b--- has now limited downside at such a ridiculous price. it is only a matter of time before shaw makes a bid which i am forecasting at $15.00. when a public company is family-controlled, a buyout offer traditionally happens at the lowest possible price.
