RE:This virus had only startedNobody's buying oil....yet.Many smaller company's will go broke.US shale ,with its typical American bravado will be crushed.Wasnt long ago so called experts boasted how the Americans will be one ..if not the..biggest oil producers.Its uninformed analysts that never bothered to dig in deep to see their debt levels,nor the high decline rates.
Canadian company's will be badly hurt as well,but Canada went through similar oil price disasters a few years ago.Besides Canada doesn't get WTI prices and they still survived.
There will indeed be tremendous buying opportunities..and if the company's we decide to buy,be it today or next week...can hang on the returns will be staggering.
How short people's memories are.This merely reminds me of 2014-15 and '08....not to mention 87.
