RE:RE:big volume in the US for CRHMThis is likely an inter-house deal between different funds; one unloading the other taking over. That is why it did not affect the price. But it's unlikely the company would issue new shares at the time it's buying back shares and cancelling them. Simply, they could use cash on hand, and delay the buy-back till a later date. The company has permission to buy "up to" 10% of the shares outstanding, but not obliged to do it; it can buy back less than that and re-apply for permission after the deadline passes, which is Sept or Nov. 2018, if i am not mistaken.
