Investor Day Feedback I thought the investor day yesterday was well done. Interesting guest speakers, especially from past PepsiCo President, Brad Jakeman, who highlighted the increased workload tasked to marketers and how the average CMO now has to produce 500,000 pieces of content compared to just 5 a decade ago.
Building off that idea, if there was one theme that was stressed yesterday, it’s that DCM loves complexity. In fact, CEO Richard Kellam went as far as saying he eats complexity for breakfast. When you connect this idea of solving complexity for clients with what guest speaker Brad Jakeman was talking about and the recent client wins DCM has been having attributed to their FLEX and ASMBL platforms I’m starting to see why and how DCM is positioning itself as a tech-enabled workflow tool.
