The best we can do is Estimate the NAV....my quick and dirty showed that the basket of stocks have been rising since they reported the NAV last month and "likely" poked over $15 yesterday with a cool off on some stocks in the closing hour. Today most are up, so I expect NAV, is likely just above $15.  However their is variation in each of their holdings, they sell call options ...more

I had 14.91 at yesterday's close, and 14.94 at the moment, but my earlier caution remains: weights are changing rapidly and I don't consider my estimates reliable.

My sspreadsheet had the df unit NAV right around the 15$ level.  DF and  DFN dont seem to move their holdings around a much as others in the split fund space, like DGS for instance. However today DF has more than 50% of the holdings down, so i suspect now back under 15$... WIll do an  spreadsheet estimate at the close today . My only worry was /is that DF will get to the threshhold ...more

I agree, but the recent rise in stock prices may have pushed some of the covered calls into-the-money, leading to weights changing due to call exercising without the fund managers being involved. .

Yes its a lot of guesswork with these. Covered calls sometimes cost you money, as after it gets taken out , you have cash, but watch that same stock head higher without you. As long as they reinvest right away it may work out. The best money is in the gain on the covered calls, that creates income without selling anything.
