Dividend 15 Split Corp. II is a mutual fund. The Company invests in a portfolio of 15 dividend-yielding, Canadian companies. It offers two types of shares, a Class A and Preferred. The investment objectives with respect to the Preferred shares are to provide holders of the Preferred shares with fixed, cumulative preferential monthly cash dividends in the amount of $0.04792 per Preferred share...
to yield 5.75% on the $10 repayment amount and to pay the holders $10 per Preferred share. The investment objectives with respect to the Class A shares are to provide holders of the Class A shares with regular monthly cash dividends targeted to be $0.10 per Class A share. The net asset value per unit must be above the required $15 per unit threshold in order for monthly dividends to be declared, and On or about the termination date, to pay the holders the original issue price ($15) of the Class A shares. The investment manager of the Company is Quadravest Capital Management Inc.

Showing a gain of 35 cents since the APRIL 30th numbers, and that is 5 cents MORE than DFN gained in that short time. Obviously the lower cash position and some different top holdings make

DF unit NAV in real time @ approx; $16.35
A few red holdings today in the top ten but still gaining a bit. Last trade @ $5.84 ( same as DFN) means the discount for DF commons is 51 cents , or about 8%. Where as DFN ( UNIT

Updated today, surprise only 2% cash
Obviously the managers are full on risk , with such a small cash position. OIL/pipeline related plays getting hitting, altho Suncor is up. UNIY NAV in realtime = approx: $16.34.. discount

DF unit nav to May 9 = approx: $16.265
DF now showing a gain of 26.5 cents in my spreadsheet. Last sale @ $5.70 and we see the discount shrinking to 56.5 cents and now under 10% .. @ approx: 9%

DF unit nav to May8 = approx; $16.13
So holdings pulled back the end of the day, and the gain since April 30 now only 13 cents. Last sale tho was at $5.60 so the discount has shrunk to 53 cents ,,or about 8.6%

DF unit nav in realtime @ approx: $16.22
Some nice gains today and only a couple of holdings showing red. Discount is about 65 cents or just over 10%

Hmm had to double check my inputs, as Yesterday the difference between to 2 was not that much. I corrected BCE input on DFN and THAT raised the gains to 8 cents from 6. So the difference makes

REAL-TIME UNIT NAV for DF = approx; $16.10
And did both spreadsheets DF and DFN ( UNIT nav now @ $16.87)... so DF now 23 cents higher value than DFN.. bigger cash position safer for DFN, and its more liquid, BUT it loses ground on DF
