~$14.89. The premium has shrunk to ~$0.17 after today's market thrashing. We are below the payment threshold by ~0.75%.

I would expect Quadravest to wait till Wednesday's close at least before making any decisions regarding the dividend. I would not expect them to use today's traditional mid-month closing NAV in declaring distributions if DFN meets the threshold in the next two days. 

That being said, the powerful negative sentiment currently prevailing suggests we will not make the cut by Wednesday's close, but one never knows.

IMO, they will issue distribution.  I agree it puts next distribution in real jeopardy.

Even though they have carte blanche to issue a distribution this month, I see them doing so only if 1) it's on the cusp by pennies and 2) markets are moving up. I see neither at the moment.

Your numbers  the same as mine, and I also believe the down trend will continue and Quadravest managers will not try to sneak in another distribution in a corrective market. I know this is their market darling and basically the only split fund common to get the preferential treatment. I dont like this one, as it is almost always at a premium, likely for  the ATM system selling,  as

Agree fully - I've sold my long positions in DFN and movd to the short side. That premium on DFN means it drops like a rock when the "no dividend" news comes out
