Taking my capital gains off the table

I'll miss miss the distribution, but was sitting on some decent capital gains here in a very short time. Today's economic number was a surprise. Maybe it blows over tomorrow but the gains were north of 2 months of distributions. The pendulum has now swung to the other side as the premium shoots up. Will reload if it dips back under $5 without the premium.

I don't blame you.  A Bird In The Hand.....   I think the snap back is more hope than a strategy today. Next week's Fed meeting will be interesting. Until then hope will probably win.

In hindsight, I sold a little too early but the bottom line my account now has 2.5 months worth of distributions by just holding a few days so can't complain. I think it will revisit the 4's again soon and I can wait without worry. Meanwhile, I've already moved the proceeds back to money market at 4.55%.
