RE:Stratus

RE:Stratus Buildings were only empty for a very short period and even what were considered empty buildings were never 100% deserted and required increased cleaning. I was in such a building in Ottawa during a period when a top tech company had everyone working from home at the height of the hysteria during the pandemic. I've never seen such money spent on cleaning a 5 story office building in my life based on the possibility that 3 or 4 people might visit the office that day. Every surface, elevator buttons, door knobs etc were wiped and rewiped for the duration of the day, in addition to a much more rigorous cleaning of offices etc. It was seen as a liability issue. As I mentioned yesterday covid saved Kimco from going under. From my personal experience I'd be skeptical of any cleaning revenue numbers taken from 2020-2022, although no question residual trends may continue to an certain extent moving forward.
